How to play baccarat

  1. Place your bet

Put chips on Player, Banker or Tie, or on more than one.

  2. The deal

Player and Banker get two cards each. Tens and picture cards count 0, aces 1, and a total keeps only its last digit, so 7 + 8 makes 5.

  3. Third cards

The standard rules decide whether either hand draws a third card. You make no choices after the bet.

  4. The result

The total closest to 9 wins. On a tie, Player and Banker bets get their stake back.

Baccarat third-card rules

  • A natural: if either hand totals 8 or 9 with its first two cards, both stand.
  • Otherwise Player draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7.
  • If Player stood, Banker draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7. If Player drew, Banker follows the table below.

Limits

One round can pay at most 250,000 Diamonds, and no multiplier goes past 1,000x. Members can stake up to 5,000 Diamonds a round, and a VIP pass raises that. Your daily loss limit covers every game.

How to verify a Baccarat result

Each deal uses six numbers, one per card: floor(f × 52). They’re dealt Player, Banker, Player, Banker, then Player’s and Banker’s third cards if the rules call for them. Cards come from an endless shoe, so every card has the same chance each time. The numbers come from your seeds: f = the first 52 bits of HMAC-SHA256(server seed, “client seed:nonce”) ÷ 2^52, and each extra number adds “:1”, “:2” and so on to the message.

  1. Before you bet

You see the SHA-256 hash of your server seed, which fixes it. Set your own client seed whenever you like.

  2. Reveal the seed

Rotate your seed pair on the Fairness page. The old server seed is revealed and a new pair starts.

  3. Recompute

Check that the seed hashes to what you saw, then paste it into the game’s verify panel, or any HMAC-SHA256 tool, to get the same result.

Frequently asked questions

Is it better to bet on Player or Banker?

Neither returns more: each is set to 90%. Banker wins slightly more hands (45.84% against 44.61%) and pays a little less.

What does a Tie pay?

9.4314x your stake, stake included. Ties happen in 9.54% of hands.

Do I need to know the third-card rules?

No. They’re applied for you; the table above shows them if you’re curious.

Can I count cards?

No. Cards come from an endless shoe, so past cards say nothing about the next one.
