How to play Hi-Lo
See the card
Ace is low and King is high. Suits don’t count.
Guess
Higher, lower or the same rank. Each button shows its chance and the multiplier you’d hold if you’re right.
Keep going or cash out
Each right guess multiplies your win; a wrong guess loses the stake. You can skip up to three cards a game.

Hi-Lo odds for a first guess
| Card showing | Higher | Lower | Same |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ace | 92.31%, 0.975x | — | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| 2 | 84.62%, 1.0636x | 7.69%, 11.7x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| 4 | 69.23%, 1.3x | 23.08%, 3.9x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| 7 | 46.15%, 1.95x | 46.15%, 1.95x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| 10 | 23.08%, 3.9x | 69.23%, 1.3x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| Queen | 7.69%, 11.7x | 84.62%, 1.0636x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
| King | — | 92.31%, 0.975x | 7.69%, 11.7x |
Each cell shows the chance, then the multiplier you’d hold after a right first guess. A guess with k winning ranks out of 13 multiplies your win by 13 ÷ k, starting from 0.9, so Hi-Lo returns 90% wherever you stop (house edge 10%). On a near-certain guess, such as higher on an Ace, the first multiplier is below 1x.
Limits
One round can pay at most 250,000 Diamonds, and no multiplier goes past 1,000x. Members can stake up to 5,000 Diamonds a round, and a VIP pass raises that. Your daily loss limit covers every game.
How to verify a Hi-Lo result
Cards come from an endless deck: each card is floor(f × 52), so every card has the same chance every time. The run of cards is fixed when the game starts. The numbers come from your seeds: f = the first 52 bits of HMAC-SHA256(server seed, “client seed:nonce”) ÷ 2^52, and each extra number adds “:1”, “:2” and so on to the message.
Before you bet
You see the SHA-256 hash of your server seed, which fixes it. Set your own client seed whenever you like.
Reveal the seed
Rotate your seed pair on the Fairness page. The old server seed is revealed and a new pair starts.
Recompute
Check that the seed hashes to what you saw, then paste it into the game’s verify panel, or any HMAC-SHA256 tool, to get the same result.

Frequently asked questions
Do suits matter in Hi-Lo?
No. Only the rank counts, from Ace (low) to King (high).
What does “same” pay?
It’s the hardest call, 1 rank in 13, so a right guess multiplies your win by 13: 11.7x on a first guess.
Can I count cards?
No. Cards come from an endless deck, so a card you’ve just seen is as likely as any other to come next.
When should I cash out?
Whenever you like: the return is 90% wherever you stop. Decide your target before you start.
