How to play Mines
Choose your mines
Pick 1 to 24 mines for the 25-tile board. The more mines, the more each gem pays.
Reveal tiles
Tap tiles one at a time. A gem raises your multiplier; a mine ends the game and the stake is lost.
Cash out
Take your stake times the current multiplier whenever you like. The board was fixed when you started, so nothing moves while you decide.
Bets are in Diamonds. Your daily loss limit applies to every game.

Multiplier after n gems = 0.9 × 25/(25 − mines) × 24/(24 − mines) × … for each gem, rounded down to four decimals. That’s the fair odds of finding n gems in a row less the 10% house edge, so Mines returns 90% of stakes wherever you stop.
With 1 or 2 mines, the first gem pays less than your stake (0.9375x with 1). Keep going until the multiplier passes 1.00x to come out ahead.
Limits
A board cashes out by itself when it reaches 1,000x or the max win of 250,000 Diamonds. Members can stake up to 5,000 Diamonds a board, and a VIP pass raises that.
How to verify a Mines result
The board is shuffled with 24 numbers, f0 to f23: start with tiles 0 to 24 and, for i from 24 down to 1, swap tile i with tile floor(f[24 − i] × (i + 1)). The mines are the first N tiles. Revealing your seed during a game cancels that game and returns your stake. The numbers come from your seeds: f = the first 52 bits of HMAC-SHA256(server seed, “client seed:nonce”) ÷ 2^52, and each extra number adds “:1”, “:2” and so on to the message.
Before you bet
You see the SHA-256 hash of your server seed, which fixes it. Set your own client seed whenever you like.
Reveal the seed
Rotate your seed pair on the Fairness page. The old server seed is revealed and a new pair starts.
Recompute
Check that the seed hashes to what you saw, then enter it in the verifier, or any HMAC-SHA256 tool, to get the same result.

Frequently asked questions
How many mines should I choose?
It changes the spread, not the return: every setting returns 90% over time. Few mines win often and pay a little per gem; many mines pay a lot per gem but end quickly.
Can the mines move after I start?
No. The board comes from your seeds when the game starts, and you saw the hash of the server seed before you bet. Reveal the seed afterwards to see where every mine was.
What is the house edge on Mines?
10%. Each multiplier is the fair odds of the gems you’ve found, times 0.9.
Why does the first gem pay less than 1x with one mine?
With one mine a gem is very likely (24 in 25), so after the house edge the first multiplier is 0.9375x. It passes 1.00x at gem 3.
